Professor Richard Osborne, Director of the new Centre, and his team at Deakin have pioneered new, highly effective approaches to health literacy over the past decade – establishing programs in over 20 countries that are improving health outcomes for some of the world’s most disadvantaged people.

New mobile Asthma Buddy to help Australians better manage their asthma

31 Oct 2017 National Asthma Council Australia announced the launch of a new Asthma Buddy mobile website, an easy-to-use and take-anywhere asthma management tool.

Preserving all existing functionalities, the improved Asthma Buddy has enhanced flexibility and reliability, and is available at www.asthmabuddy.org.au.

Similar to a phone app, the mobile-only website is easily accessible through any mobile devices, making it convenient for people with asthma to keep their asthma action plans handy, which help them and/or their caregivers take early action to prevent and reduce the severity of an asthma attack.
