Diabetes Australia interactive map

Diabetes Australia’s interactive geospatial map is a tool that highlights the continuing growth of the epidemic, and which communities in Australia are most affected. The Australian Diabetes Map combines Australian Census population data with the latest National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS) data to reflect actual diabetes prevalence at a national, state, electorate, local government area and postcode level for all types of diabetes. This useful tool gives all levels of government, community leaders, health services and policy makers an accurate and up-to-date insight into the true impact of diabetes on Australian communities – and the ability to better plan diabetes management and prevention programs.

PubMed

The PubMed search system provides free access to journal references, including some with full-text. The PubMed search system also provides a database of bibliographic information, which is drawn primarily from MEDLINE and PREMEDLINE. In addition, for participating journals that are indexed selectively for MEDLINE, PubMed includes all articles from that journal, not just those that are included in MEDLINE. Finally, PubMed also provides access to the molecular biology databases included in NCBI's Entrez retrieval system. It is expected that access to additional National Library of Medicine databases will be added in the future.
